Edward arrived back at Grand Central Station in Victoriana Square after a long journey. He had been away for a while on business but it was good to be back home. He stepped out of the station to see the snow that was here when he left had not yet melted and he smiled. Walking accross the square passed the Golden Harp he glanced over at his shop, everything seemed ok and as he left it. Walking on down Carnegie Mews he came to number 9, he glanced up at the building, still covered in ice, then looked down at the front door. He reached into his pocket for his key and slotting it into the lock he turned it and opened the door. Home! He had never been so happy to be back indoors. The warmth of the fire hit him straight away. He went through into the kitchen where his wife was making dinner. Yes it was good to be back home but there was much to attend to. The business had to be seen to and the Yulefest ball had to be organised but he hoped that Miss Ireland had been able to do that. He must also contact the Mayor to inform him of his return, but that could all be done tomorrow, today it was time to relax and unwind after his long journey. Maybe he would tell of this sometime but now it was dinner time.
Newspaper recruitment
“I have posted an event listing for the newspaper recruitment for Victoriana for tomorrow (Saturday) I am looking for reporters and an advertising clerk to work on the paper. I think i need about 3 reporters and 1 sales clerk so hopefully tomorrow should bring some interested people down to the town. Even if it doesnt it still creates awareness of the newspaper with the wider community as they will see that something is starting which is good. Plus because it is being held in the Golden Harp tavern and not in an office or what not its a little less formal which should make people relax a little. They can have a drink while they fill in the application and i can hold the interviews in a more friendly manner than say in an office which should put people at ease. I also need to get some decoration done for Yulefest for the shop and my home, with the work i have currently i may not be able to get this done today but if not there is always tomorrow morning.”

Audio book club
“After learning that Victoriana used to hold a book reading club event which has now stopped, i have been toying with the idea of restarting this as i wasnt there when it was being run before and i would rather like to attend one of these events. The plan to set this up though may seem harder than at first thought. Why? Well for it to be an audio book club someone has to read it but then the others would need somekind of book to read along with as if 1 person read and the rest just did what they pleased it would be rude to the book reader. Hence i have thought of an idea to revive this event and make it so that the guests can mingle and play some games while listening to the story. Audio books! I am going to investigate this possibility to stream the audio books through SAM broadcaster which i have to SL. I know i need a stream which is easily available as are the audio books, so hopefully it shouldnt be too much of a problem to get this back up and running hopefully”
