Newspaper recruitment

“I have posted an event listing for the newspaper recruitment for Victoriana for tomorrow (Saturday) I am looking for reporters and an advertising clerk to work on the paper. I think i need about 3 reporters and 1 sales clerk so hopefully tomorrow should bring some interested people down to the town. Even if it doesnt it still creates awareness of the newspaper with the wider community as they will see that something is starting which is good. Plus because it is being held in the Golden Harp tavern and not in an office or what not its a little less formal which should make people relax a little. They can have a drink while they fill in the application and i can hold the interviews in a more friendly manner than say in an office which should put people at ease. I also need to get some decoration done for Yulefest for the shop and my home, with the work i have currently i may not be able to get this done today but if not there is always tomorrow morning.”

YuleFest

There was to be a Yulefest in the town of Victoriana where Edward had just moved to. It was the Australian celebration of wintertime as its summer there when its Christmas so they hold whats called Yulefest so the town was going to be covered in snow and ice for 10 days starting the 21st of July. Edward had been thinking about holding an offer in his shop for this and also maybe hosting some events in the town. He had discussed with the Mayor about this last night and the mayor seemed only too pleased to let him host some in the Golden Harp so Edward set about making some advertising notices to contact people with.
